Clarissa Marshall is home from Australia....YEAH... which gave us time to catch up! Then next morning we went to Columbus for the Annual Sandy Barta 5K. We had a great weekend!

Guadalupe River Water Fight 09

This weekend we stayed wet at the Guadalupe River! Ryan and I met up with mom, dad, Kelli, and Trevor to camp at the River Road camp grounds. Also at the camp ground was Aunt Cindy, Uncle Gary and their friends. We met a ton of great people who had us laughing the entire trip! The jokes were funny, the cell phone drama was hilarious, and the beer was going down good! This goup has a tradition to meet up every year on the same weekend and have a water gun fight with the campsite down the way (The Texas City Boys)!

The attack from the Texas City Boys was suppose to go down at 6:00, but they sent in decoy's (guys in canoes) at 5:00. They caught us by surprise and our guys had to act quickly while the rest of the group snuck up behind them. We held our own during the fight although the men with snorkling gear had us beat!

Below are the men and their guns! Notice the women and children are "somewhat" dry on the bank!

Here is a pic of some of the action going on..they were so spread out that it was hard to get everyone on the picture. Bottom of the picutre is dad and Ryan getting attacked by the guy in goggles! Our sombrero's had no chance!
Here is Ryan attacking dad!

Fishing Trip 2009

Here are some pictures from our first fishing trip this year! As you can see, a strong norther came through on Saturday. Not great bikini weather. We had a fantastic time and I wade fished for the first time! Ryan, Kench and Lindsey all caught trout. Me, I had a great time trying. LOL. They swear I will get the hang of it. Next trip, I will have the proper gear so I am not so darn nearvous about stepping on a sting ray.

The Easter Bunny is Coming!

Kelli, Trevor and I went out to try some new setting on my camera. I thought a field of blue bonnets and of course Major were appropriate. They took great pictures and were very cooperative with some of my trial ideas! Thanks!

We had one heck of a night in Nada, Texas! Angela signed her, Amy and I all up for the "Second Annual International Invitational World Championship Spoon Off" Tournament! No lie... that is the title and we had so many laughs to go around. Just thinking about me spending six hours in a tournament at a bar makes me laugh! But, Angela and I did come out a head. We both won some cash for beating out 37 other women and I came home with a beautiful hand crafted spoon trophy! It is hilarious! So to all that are jealous you may sign up next year!
