Chloe in my baby outfits
Here is Chloe in my baby outfits that my mom had me in when I was about three months old. So my little Chloe is even fatter than I. She is only two months and the outfits fit pretty good.
A little update on Chloe-
She has been a pretty good baby since initiating the bottle at 4-5 weeks. No more of the hysterical crying after a feeding. (and less hysterical crying for momma too!) We assumed that it was reflux because lets face it, all the breastfeeding books say "your baby will get what they need breastfeeding"! Well, not my Chloe. She was such a sleepy eater, our meals went a little bit like...suck, fall asleep, gag and choke, attempt to burp it out, become pissed off, and start over. This took 45 minutes to an hour and she would still cry for at least 15 minutes after that! SOOO Halloween weekend, after a terrible trip to the pumpkin patch, I had enough and she got a bottle. For us this was a life saver and my unhappy little girl became content for the first time. The "sigh" she gave after her first bottle feeding was all I needed to help me make that decision.
She has been doing so well since 5 weeks old. We began cooing quietly with a loud "coo" every now and then. She loves to talk when getting her diaper changed. After all, the bathroom with the vent on is her favorite place to be in the house. The white noise of the vent would calm her down almost instantaneously.
This week we found our hands and tummy time has become so unproductive because it puts her in the optimal position to suck on them without having to reach very far! She nearly puts herself to sleep on her tummy now and gives a flip about rolling our lifting her head. :).
Since Halloween, she also has been sleeping through the night going down anywhere from 8 to 10 and sleeping till 5-7 nearly every night.
She also loves her baths with her daddy but HATES getting her clothes changed!
Baptism
Chloe was baptized at St. Michael's Church last Sunday. We had a wonderful mass and she didn't make a peep the whole service! YEAH! Her Godparents are her wonderful aunts.. Kelli and Beth who will do a great job with her as she grows up. Her dress was made by her Grandmother out of her wedding dress and it turned out beautiful!
Well, my sister has informed me that I need to do something for this blog since I don't even have my little one posted! Yes, she is 8 weeks old and just beautiful! She has begun to "coo" and smile! Her coos are so quiet and so lady like. I am sure they will be getting louder if she takes after her mommy! She has also found her hands this week and it is hysterical to find her with her fist in her mouth, nearly gagging herself! I will try to be more up to date with the blog, but I am going back to work soon and all this technology is overwhelming to keep up with (facebook, her baby book, her baby albulm, email! arghh!)

With mom's help, nesting mode has begun. Technically, I just needed my living room back that the gifts were taking over! But the room is almost complete. I even got uncle Matt to help Ryan with the book shelf. There are still things left to do like the mobile being hung, picture frames hung, and rug to be bought, but that can all be put in over the next few weeks! I am so excited and can't wait to finish it off and then wait for her to arrive.

Baby Chloe's Room
SOOOO, I haven't posted in awhile, but her is a quick pick of me and "Grandpa" hanging curtains for the babies room. Her name is set for Chloe Virgina Brandt. Ryan and I are very excited and eager to meet her this September/October. My belly is growing rapidly and you can see her moving all the time, like she is doing some kind of kickboxing in my belly! I will post later, but wanted to get a good jump start from December's post!

Senglemann Hall and A 5K
This weekend we headed out to Senglemann hall in Schulenburg to listen to Southbound 955. First Carrie, Kelli, and I went to the Wildcat football game then ran home to grab the guys before heading to schulenburg. Clarissa Marshall is home from Australia....YEAH... which gave us time to catch up! Then next morning we went to Columbus for the Annual Sandy Barta 5K. We had a great weekend!

I went to Las Vegas! We celebrated Katie's bachelorette party right in Las Vegas Sept 10-13th. We ate good food, relaxed by the pool, and partied at night! Here are some pictures of the weekend. There were too many to post!
The top picture was at a Bar/Restaurant in our hotel call Rumjungle. Above us is a cage for a half dressed go-go dance!
Below is a pic of me and the bachelorette!

Guadalupe River Water Fight 09
This weekend we stayed wet at the Guadalupe River! Ryan and I met up with mom, dad, Kelli, and Trevor to camp at the River Road camp grounds. Also at the camp ground was Aunt Cindy, Uncle Gary and their friends. We met a ton of great people who had us laughing the entire trip! The jokes were funny, the cell phone drama was hilarious, and the beer was going down good! This goup has a tradition to meet up every year on the same weekend and have a water gun fight with the campsite down the way (The Texas City Boys)!
The attack from the Texas City Boys was suppose to go down at 6:00, but they sent in decoy's (guys in canoes) at 5:00. They caught us by surprise and our guys had to act quickly while the rest of the group snuck up behind them. We held our own during the fight although the men with snorkling gear had us beat!
Below are the men and their guns! Notice the women and children are "somewhat" dry on the bank!

Here is a pic of some of the action going on..they were so spread out that it was hard to get everyone on the picture. Bottom of the picutre is dad and Ryan getting attacked by the guy in goggles! Our sombrero's had no chance!
