Ryan's 08 Turkey Hunt

Here is my turkey from out at the Red Top! We set up the decoys saturday afternoon and my buddy Jeff called it in. Turkey went down by bow and arrow at 6:00. That left enough time to set up again for Jeff's turn. Unfortunatly, the attempt was unsuccessful due to the turkey's heading to roost for the night. They didn't respond to the calls. Thanks Jeff for a great hunt and I'm ready to do it again next season!

What A Day!

Ryan and I had a great afternoon. We got off of work and took the four wheelers down to the river bottom. First of course, we had to feed the honory baby calf that wouldn't leave us alone till we payed him some attention.

Then we went down to the river and came upon an eagles nest! Here are a few shots of it! Amazing!

We also found the eagles on some branches within veiw of the nest, but I guess we scared them. Here are a few shots before they flew off.
