CONGRATULATIONS BETH!

It has been a long while since I posted last, but we have been super busy over the past weeks. Ryan working on his cow pins, and me working at the clinic! This past Friday, Ryan and I went to watch our sister graduate from High School as Salutatorian! Her speech was awesome and we were SO proud of her! She will be attending A&M next semester, majoring in Mechanical Enginering!

Today, the family is helping us remodel our bathroom! OMG! When the house was built back in the day, boy did they build it to withstand hurricanes! This tile is mortared, nailed and glued to the wall were only a sledge hammer will break it. I have been working for an hour and have barely made a dent! Here is a picture of our bathroom being demolished!

I will post again so you can see our progress tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Kelli!

Another night in College Station, Texas...celebrating my baby sister's birthday! She is 19 and it was cool to be out at a bar with her. I can't wait till she can drink. We went to Hurricane Harry's and saw The Randy Rogers Band. They were great and sound just like they do on their CD. I was impressed. The place was packed which we later remembered it was graduation night. We were very lucky to drive up and still get a hotel room. Here are a couple of shots from the night.
Below is the family: Ryan, me, Matt (brother), Kelli (birthday girl)

Kelli and her friend Bridgett

Below: Trevor (Kelli's Boyfreind), Jay (cousin), Reed ( friend)

Thanks Kelli for inviting us up! We came home early the next morning to only go out to our town festival...The Gedenke!

Up for the Challenge! Here are 7 Random facts about Kim

1. I love being an Aggie. I take pride in my education and my time spent there. I wish I could explain the feeling I get when I pull into the town. I get chills with hooking up to a fellow aggie during Hullabaloo, I enjoy watching the football games, and get a little teary eyed during the tradition of Muster. I seldom take my Aggie Ring off because I worked too hard for it!

2. I tried to eat frog legs, but couldn’t swallow! The idea of eating frog couldn’t get past my tounge.

3. Best Vacation was to Disney World with the family in 2003, Ryan came with us! Although the rides “It’s a small world” and “Dumbo” were not as cool as I remembered from the very first time we went.

4. I had an awesome clinical experience at The Methodist hospital. My CI was great. I got to meet and work with Dr. Debakey… one of the smartest and most accomplished people I have ever met (He was just on TV). I stood in the operating room during an open heart surgery and was able to follow up with the patient after the surgery. The cafeteria’s fruit parfait’s were awesome!

5. I love my Job. Don’t mind a bit going to work every morning.

6. I recall the very moment when I fell in love with my husband. We have been together for a long time. We dated for 9 years (I was a freshman and he was a sophomore) before we got married in 2006. Despite all the agonizing tractor pulls I pretended to love to go to as a good girlfriend! Just Kidding… I love that you love it!

7. I am very upset at the moment because I can’t find my favorite salad dressing in the local grocery stores.

Ryan’s Favorites yet to come!

Baby Showers To Shooting!

We had a GREAT weekend which started with a baby shower for my co-workers Sarah and Rochelle at Nancy's Steakhouse in Columbus! The mommies look great and I know are getting excited for their girls to come! Congratulations to you both!

Saturday, Ryan and I were off to Houston to celebrate at another baby shower for our friends Justin and Sabrina Wilson. We had a great time and here is a pic of the happy couple! Thank you Osburns for letting us stay at your home!

Here is another picture of some of our entertainment for the evening. The puppies had a good time too chasing eachother around the house.

We finished the evening with a game of Flippy Cup! I sure wish this game was around when i was in college! Much fun!

Sunday Amy and I went to a scrapbooking party, which was awesome! We made some cards for the upcoming holidays! Then off to target practice...mostly for Amy and I! HA Ha!
